Rut & Conditioning Deer 16 (59SD)
A 16%-protein,
fat-enhanced, pelleted ration designed to improve the deer’s body condition prior
to and throughout the rut. The high energy content will replenish body
condition of does and bucks during and following the rut and during periods
of low forage availability and quality through the winter months. This
superior nutrition will result in healthier animals prepared to grow big
antlers and produce and feed large, healthy fawns. Formulated with patented
AntlerMax™ Technology to promote superior antler growth in bucks next spring
and summer, reproductive success and abundant milk production in does, and

How and When to Feed...
Deer, elk and other game should be fed Purina Mills® AntlerMax™ Rut &
Conditioning Deer 16 starting in October or one month before the start of the
rut and continuing through the end of December or until the antlers begin to
drop.
Purina Mills® AntlerMax™ Rut & Conditioning Deer 16 is a supplement, not
a complete feed. It is designed to be fed free-choice with access to adequate
native forage or good-quality hay.
Place under shelter near high deer activity and close to a constant supply of
fresh, clean water. Consumption will vary with season of the year,
nutritional needs of the animals and availability of other foods. If fed to
deer in confinement, feed measured amounts daily at a rate of one to two
pounds per 100 pounds of body weight in addition to free-choice, good-quality
roughage.

program is only as effective as the management practices. Actual results can
vary depending upon feed intake, environmental conditions and the quality of
the management practices.
2. Purina Mills® AntlerMax™ Rut & Conditioning Deer 16 is a
supplement, not a complete feed. Deer in confinement may be fed this product,
but only when fed in measured amounts daily with free-choice access to
adequate hay or forage. Deer in confinement should not be fed this product as
their sole diet without access to hay or forage.
3. Deer in confinement should not have free access to corn, as eating
too much corn at one time can lead to serious digestive upsets and even
death.
4. Provide water and Purina Mills® AntlerMax™ Deer and Elk Trophy
Mineral™ (59SF) at all times.
